Project Overview

Corporate AV integration in Bangalore was delivered by AllWave AV Systems for a leading technology and smart infrastructure company as part of its office relocation to Embassy Tech Village. The project involved the systematic decommissioning and relocation of existing AV equipment from the previous office, followed by the design, installation, integration, configuration and commissioning of AV systems across the new workplace.

The solution covered multiple meeting-room formats, executive cabins, collaboration areas, reception, open-office zones, a cafeteria, laboratory, townhall and a dedicated BMS room. The deployment combined wired and wireless presentation, video conferencing, professional audio, centralized AV control, digital signage and video wall technology to create a reliable and scalable workplace collaboration environment.

AllWave’s scope extended across the complete AV implementation lifecycle, including site coordination, AV design, dismantling, asset handling, transportation, installation, structured cabling, rack integration, system programming, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), documentation, training and handover.

About the client

Itron India Private Limited is part of Itron, a global technology company specializing in smart energy and water resource management, intelligent infrastructure and utility software solutions.

As a technology-driven organization, Itron’s workplace requires dependable communication and collaboration infrastructure to support meetings, presentations, video conferencing, corporate communication and operational monitoring.

The new facility therefore required an integrated workplace AV solution capable of supporting different room sizes and use cases. While suitable existing equipment was retained wherever possible, new AV infrastructure was introduced where required to ensure reliable functionality and integration across the workplace.

Business Challenges

1. Complex AV Relocation Without Disrupting Equipment

The project required the systematic dismantling, inventory tracking, safe packing, transportation and reinstallation of existing AV equipment from the previous office.

The challenge was not simply moving equipment—it was ensuring that reusable AV assets reached the new facility safely and could be reintegrated into the new room infrastructure without compromising functionality.

2. Multiple Room Types With Different AV Requirements

The new office included meeting rooms ranging from 4-person to 20-person spaces, along with manager cabins, collaboration zones, reception, cafeteria, laboratory, townhall and open-office areas.

Each environment required a different combination of display, presentation, audio, video conferencing, control and connectivity technologies.

3. Integration of Existing and New AV Infrastructure

Where suitable, existing displays and other equipment were reused. This required careful integration with new mounts, presentation gateways, cameras, DSPs, amplifiers, microphones, control processors, network switches and cabling.

4. Tight Project Timeline and Changing Dependencies

The execution window was highly constrained, with approximately 10 days allocated for implementation. The project schedule also underwent changes because of PMC dependencies.

Allwave therefore prioritized rooms according to operational requirements, including the inauguration date, CEO visit and office go-live schedule. The team also coordinated for additional suitable execution time to ensure the installation met the required AVIXA QA/QC standards.

5. DSP Failure During Installation

During implementation, the Biamp Tesira FORTÉ DSP in two 10-person meeting rooms failed to boot, taking the integrated room audio system offline.

To maintain meeting continuity while troubleshooting and resolving the issue, Allwave deployed a client-provided Jabra speakerphone as a temporary workaround.

6. BMS Room Video Wall Precision

The BMS room required a professional 2 × 3 video wall, making physical display alignment, signal distribution, rack positioning and continuous operational reliability critical design considerations.

BMS Video Wall Solution – 2×3 professional video wall with six Samsung displays, Drita video wall controller and HDBaseT signal distribution for centralized source management.

Structured AV Infrastructure – Professional cabling, equipment mounting, rack integration, signal distribution and network infrastructure for a reliable and maintainable AV environment.

Scope of work:

The project covered the complete lifecycle of the workplace AV implementation, from site survey, engineering, and system design through dismantling, relocation, installation, integration, programming, testing, UAT and handover. Allwave delivered AV systems across multiple meeting-room formats, including 4-person, 8-person, 10-person, and 20-person rooms, along with manager cabins and collaboration areas. 

The scope also covered reception and open-office digital signage, an interactive collaboration area, townhall presentation infrastructure, cafeteria AV integration, laboratory presentation connectivity, and a dedicated BMS room video wall. Existing AV equipment was assessed, dismantled, inventoried, transported, and reintegrated wherever suitable, while new displays, presentation systems, video conferencing equipment, microphones, DSPs, amplifiers, speakers, control systems, network infrastructure, AV racks, structured cabling and signal-extension systems were introduced where required. The project concluded with system configuration, commissioning, testing, user acceptance testing, documentation, user training and final handover.

COLLABORATION, DIGITAL SIGNAGE & SHARED SPACES

Executive Manager Cabins

Seven manager cabins were equipped with compact executive presentation systems using existing Panasonic displays, wall mounts, HDMI connectivity and Crestron AM-101 wireless presentation.

Reception Digital Signage

The reception area was equipped with an 80-inch Panasonic UHD display and BrightSign XT1143 signage player.

The solution enables the display to function as a dedicated corporate communication and visitor-information platform.

Collaboration Areas

The collaboration area used an 84-inch Microsoft Surface Hub as the primary interactive display, supplemented by wired HDMI/USB connectivity and wireless presentation.

A separate open collaboration area used a Panasonic display with wired HDMI and Crestron AM-101 wireless presentation.

Open Office Digital Signage

Three open-office areas were equipped with Panasonic displays and BrightSign XT1143 players, creating repeatable digital signage infrastructure for internal corporate communications.

Townhall AV

The open townhall retained the existing ViewSonic projection system and Seemax/Clear View screen while introducing table connectivity and HDMI signal extension.

This approach allowed the existing projection infrastructure to continue supporting large-group presentations without requiring a complete replacement of the system.

Cafeteria AV Integration

The cafeteria was designed as a multi-purpose AV environment supporting presentation, video conferencing, digital signage, cable TV and corporate gatherings.

The system included dual Panasonic displays, a Lumens PTZ camera, Vaddio AV Bridge Conf, Revolabs wireless microphones, Biamp DSP, Lab Gruppen amplification, Tannoy ceiling speakers, BrightSign signage, Crestron control and managed network infrastructure.

A Crestron touch panel provided centralized control of the AV environment.
