The project focused on creating a scalable corporate AV solution that could support both everyday training sessions and large-scale townhall meetings. The workplace required a flexible multipurpose room AV solution capable of operating as separate training rooms or a unified large collaboration space.

The three rooms existed independently. Each had its own AV setup, its own quirks and no way to talk to each other. When Chubb needed to run a large townhall, it meant manually reconfiguring cables, calling in IT support and spending time the team didn’t have just to get the room ready.

Every mode had to work cleanly and switching between them had to be simple enough for anyone on the facilities team to manage without calling for help.

The architecture was built around a centralised control and audio processing backbone. A QSC DSP sits at the core, handling all audio routing, zone management and the logic that makes room combining and separating work reliably every time. Control was consolidated into a single touch panel interface for everything across all three spaces.

Camera placement was planned for both configurations: tight framing for training mode, wide coverage and speaker tracking for townhall mode. Microphone systems were chosen to match each use case discreet arrays for seated training sessions and professional wireless for presenters on the move.

The goal throughout was to build something that facilities staff could operate confidently on day one and that Chubb’s IT team wouldn’t need to babysit.
